Multi-Vapor is the GE name for Metal Halide Lamps. They produce a WHITE light and are used in stadiums, gas station canopies, billboards, etc.. They are used occasionally, but not COMMONLY for street lighting. TRY AGAIN!
Halogen lamps are filament lamps; they have relatively short life and they and would consume a lot of energy and require frequent replacement if used for street lighting!. CORRECT!
Lucalox is the GE Brand Name for High Pressure Sodium Lamps, commonly used in street lighting. TRY AGAIN!
Low Pressure Sodium lamps are intensely yellow and not commonly used in street lighting. Because of their terrible color rendering you cannot tell any colors! Some cities near astronomical observatories use Low Pressure Sodium in their street lighting but they are certainly not common! |
