Incandescent Lamp Types I An incandescent lamp produces light by heating a small length of wire by an electric current.

A-line Lamps (General Service):
General service lamps are the most commonly used incandescent lamps. Arbitrary shape (A) bulbs are used for 15- to 250-watt general service lamps. Many lamps rated above 150 watts use a pear shape (PS) bulb.

Reveal® Lamps
Reveal® lamps use neodymium mixed within the outer bulb glass, resulting in a purple colored glass. The neodymium selectively filters out a portion of the yellow region. Because of the physiology of the human eye, this makes a dramatic improvement to the way most colors appear.

Reveal® lamps are available in various wattages and found in the following lamp types: A-line, 3-way, R20, R30, Globe, T-, BC and GC
