Halogen Infrared Reflecting (HIR) lamps use a heat reflective coating and increase efficiency by 35%. The reflected infrared energy contributes to heating the filament and reduces energy consumption. HIR™ lamps are the best choice for all PAR lamp applications. These lamps are most commonly used in retail display lighting.

The HIR™ family, includes 50,60,70,80 and 100 watt PAR38 products and a 50W PAR 30. Also included are the 45, 55 and 90 watt HIR/XL™ PAR 38 lamps and the 45W PAR30/XL lamp which lasts 6000 hours, the longest life of any halogen PAR38 lamp. This lamp also provides 10% more light than competitive 60-watt halogen PARs.
