Constant Color® Precise™ lamps A ConstantColor® halogen lamp maintains over 90% of its light output throughout its life with no shifting of color.

ConstantColor® Precise™ lamps are popular for display and accent lighting.

Over time, lamp coatings may degrade, resulting in loss of light. GE's MR-16 and MR-11 lamps feature GE's exclusive ConstantColor® coating which does not degrade. The result is over 90% maintained light output over the life of the lamp with consistent white light.

Constant Color Precise™ lamps last up to 6000 hours, or up to three times longer than most standard MR16 lamps. A long life means lower lamp replacement and labor costs and fewer disruptions caused by lamp burnouts.

These lamps can also be obtained with cover glass. Fingerprints, dust, and dirt on the bulb and reflector areas can substantially reduce light output. The cover glass protects the bulb from these contaminants. The possibility of damage from careless handling is also reduced by the use of a glass cover.
