Deluxe Lucalox® lamps have a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 65 versus 22 for standard Lucalox. They are used in situations where a high CRI, golden yellow light is preferred, e.g. exterior floodlighting of red brick buildings.

They operate on the same ballast as standard Lucalox® but have slightly lower life and lumens than standard Lucalox®.
