LightPRO Training

Welcome! The GE Light PRO Training
consists of three phases:

Phase 1: Orientation

1- LIGHTING BASICS

      2- INCANDESCENT-HALOGEN LAMPS
      3- FLUORESCENT LAMPS
      4- HID LAMPS
      5- BALLASTS

Phase 3: Advanced

      6- LIGHTING DESIGN
      7- COST OF LIGHT
      8- LIGHTING TOOLS
      9- FINDING OPPORTUNITIES

Each of the nine modules is 12 to 20 pages
Each page should take between half a minute and 2 minutes (depending on your prior knowledge and familiarity)
Each module can be completed in about 20 minutes

When you have completed each Phase of the Training you will be ready to take a test to certify completion. The tests consists of 10 fairly easy questions for each of the modules

You may use your notes and the GE Light-PRO Training to assist you in answering the test.

The answer key for the tests may be obtained by sending an e-mail to lighting.institute@ge.com and identifying who you are and why you need the answer key.

Generally these documents are given to training managers at distributors and to customers who wish to set up an in-house testing and evaluation program to go with completion of Light PRO modules.

It is expected that electronic testing for Light PRO will be made available on Learning Central at some point in 2008.
